Frequently asked
therapy questions

What is hydrotherapy?

Hydrotherapy uses water-based exercises and techniques to relieve pain, improve movement, and support rehabilitation. It’s often done in a warm pool under the guidance of a trained therapist.

Who can benefit from hydrotherapy?

People recovering from injuries, living with arthritis, chronic pain, neurological conditions, or mobility challenges can benefit. It’s gentle on the joints and suitable for all ages.

What makes hydrotherapy different from swimming or aquatic exercise?

Hydrotherapy is therapeutic and guided by a qualified therapist. It focuses on targeted movements and treatments to address specific physical needs—unlike general swimming or fitness classes.
